Our 5-Star service for your Wedding Day!

If you choose to get married with us, you expect impeccable service! Not only because of the quality of the gastronomy you will have chosen from one of our 8 privileged caterers, but also because of the service we offer you at Portes des Iris.

Ahead of your wedding :

  • During your first visit to the estate, you learned that in our rates, you have a coordinator included for your wedding day. This is a major asset to allow you to make your personal preparations and to ensure that you will be fully enjoying your day. You won’t have to take care of anything before or during your reception!
  • It is with one person and always the same one that you will have contacts during the coordination meetings that you will schedule at Portes des Iris. You will be able to benefit from her advice and expertise, and she will be in charge of planning your event in the best and most efficient way.
  • During the coordination meetings, we propose to introduce the estate to all the people likely to know the place, so that they are feeling comfortable during the day, and, above all, are reassured by the coordinator, who will always be there to help them if needed. Don’t hesitate to invite your parents, witnesses, table majors, florist, DJ, photographer, etc… so that all your service providers can be briefed.
  • But maybe you haven’t found the perfect provider yet? Are you missing a talented photographer? Is the DJ you’ve chosen standing in the way? Do you need a professional videographer? We have the right answers to all these questions and we can provide you with a wide range of providers, from the B&B in the surrounding area, to the appropriate limousine service or the doves release you’ve been dreaming of since you were a little girl, you, the bride-to-be!

The day before:

  • If the spaces you are renting are available, the great advantage of Portes des Iris is our flexibility. You can already occupy the premises the day before your reception and have your stationery delivered (menu cards, place cards, etc…), set up your photobooth, start your table decorations if you have created them yourself or even have your dress unpacked before the ceremony the next day, leaving it to air out in your preparation room!
  • Our fridges will be ready to refresh your wines and Champagne if you have agreed with your caterer to handle it yourself!
  • You can have time to practice your first dance ‘one last time’ or even plan a dress rehearsal for your ceremony, to ensure that everyone is relaxed the next day, and that your daddy knows what tempo to walk at on your arm 😉

D-Day:

  • Your coordinator will be present as soon as your service providers arrive: florist, DJ, photographer, musicians and others in order to welcome them and give them installation instructions or inform them about the planning of your wedding. Her role is also to make sure that everything is done in the time allotted.
  • The event order is a document that brings together all the important details to ensure that your wedding goes according to plan. The coordinator is therefore in charge of making sure that your wishes are implemented and that everyone intervenes at the right time, in the right place.
  • When setting up the tables, the coordinator will place on them the menus, name tags, gifts for guests and other items that you have planned. The table plan will have been sent to her beforehand so that she can place them correctly.
  • Once everything is ready and the guests are about to arrive, her role is to make sure that no detail is left to chance.
  • One of our greatest assets: hospitality. We make sure that we are present at the arrival of your guests with a smile, provide them with information whenever possible or lead them to the people who can answer them. We also manage the small unforeseen situations such as last minute surprises that have been organized by your relatives.
  • We also help with the moving of the guests in the different rooms or if, for example at the end of the ceremony, the guests have to put themselves in a “hedge of honour”, we can take care of placing them, and distribute accessories such as soap bubbles.
  • We make ourselves available all day long to deal with the unexpected, to inform your guests or your service providers, and to help if necessary with last-minute tasks such as moving floral arrangements from the ceremony room to the dining room. We also act as a liaison if there is a delay or change in the schedule!
  • When the meal begins, or sometimes a little later depending on the complexity of the event, and as soon as everything is running smoothly, we take the liberty of leaving. The caterer that you will have chosen will be very familiar with our building, it is to him that you will refer for any other questions and it is his responsibility to close the building on your departure, but at the latest at 4 o’clock in the morning.

The day after:

  • As far as possible, everyone get some rest!!!
  • We usually invite our clients to come back on Monday, quietly in the morning, in order to recover what would have been left at their wedding. Most often the caterer will take care of collecting the empty glass, but there are often still some very good wines that will delight your cellars and your mouths) during the party you will organize for your 1 year wedding anniversary 😉
  • The flowers that you will not be able to take with you in the early morning, will also wait for you on Monday and will perhaps decorate your interior for a few more days?
  • Maybe some service providers would not have been able to come and pick up their equipment (photo studio, smoking tent, etc…). It is with pleasure that we wait for them the days following your reception.
