Wedding stationery… A real puzzle, but it is indispensable! Computer technology is kindly replacing paper, but it hasn’t yet overcome the paper used for weddings. And fortunately! Nothing can replace stationery for such an important day: creativity and the effort put into these eternal memories.
Trends this year : wood, purity, DIY (“do it yourself”), vegetation, floral art, and many other inspirations! Something to play with your imagination, your creativity, the variation of materials, to bring out your personality, to use the right photos: let’s get to work! We always start by getting inspired on Pinterest. In this article, we’ll give you some nice ideas found on the web, where we have collected the most beautiful creations.
It is still necessary to find the right printer. At the bottom of this article, you will find the right addresses in Switzerland or elsewhere of talented and/or efficient printers. To be considered if you want to focus on budget or quality!
THE SAVE THE DATE
When to send it? As soon as you have set the date, this will allow your guests to note it directly in their agenda. No need for more information: no stress if you haven’t yet decided on the place or times, that’s the role of the invitation.

The romantic bookmark “consider yourself booked”
An alternative to paper : the save the date sent by email. An economical and fast way to send them, even if we prefer the effort of the paper save the date, we must admit that it is practical 🙂
THE INVITATION / THE ANNOUNCEMENT
When to send it? We advise you 4 to 5 months before the wedding. The purpose is to remind people that they have noted your date in their respective diaries, and to tell them precisely the places of the wedding, what they are invited to (ceremony and aperitif only or at the dinner as well), the times, the wedding list if there is one. Not to forget : set a response time (the famous “RSVP”), about 3 weeks before your wedding.

NUMBERS, TABLE NAMES AND PLACE CARDS
Once the day has been planned, the final number of guests confirmed, a seating plan must be decided! Who goes with whom, around which table, next to whom? Let’s go for a few hours of fun puzzles 🙂 You don’t necessarily have to place people around the table (except for yours, so that nobody takes your place of honor).

You should know that with us, you have a wide choice of head table… Here are some options :

MENU CARDS
Handwritten menus to put on the table are absolutely ESSENTIAL! Each guest will want to discover what he or she will be able to enjoy during the meal, just to make your guests’ mouths water. You can imagine the table menu cards differently: one per person or 2-3 per table, put in the napkin thanks to a special folding, displayed on a blackboard or on an easel at the entrance of the room, etc.

THANK YOU CARDS
Nothing beats a “THANK YOU” paper version with a few photos of your wedding as souvenirs for your guests. With a small personalised handwritten message and a link to your wedding photo gallery, it’s even better! Here is a small selection of our favorite models:

THE RED THREAD
It is also very trendy to keep a red thread for each element of your wedding stationery. The red thread can be: a color code, a logo that represents your initials with your wedding date for example, a material, etc…
